Legendmarketing GmbH (hereinafter "we", "us" or "operator") operates the website inside-switzerland.ch as well as the enquiry platforms linked from there (e.g. rechtsschutzangebot.ch and vorsorge3a-check.ch) and is responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Note: inside-switzerland.ch is an information and enquiry platform. We are not an insurance company, insurance intermediary or comparison portal. If you submit an enquiry form on one of our platforms, we forward your details to an insurance or pension partner or intermediary cooperating with us.
2. Categories of personal data processed
We collect and process only the personal data that you provide to us via the newsletter form on inside-switzerland.ch or via the contact form on one of our enquiry platforms. Specifically, these are:

We do not collect any personal data requiring special protection within the meaning of Art. 5 lit. c FADP (no health data, no data on religious or political views, no data on criminal proceedings, etc.).
3. Origin of the data
All personal data is collected directly from you via the newsletter or contact form on inside-switzerland.ch or one of our enquiry platforms. We do not obtain, purchase or enrich data from external sources or third parties.
4. Purpose of data processing
Your personal data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
– Newsletter: Sending news and stories about Switzerland to the e-mail address you provide.
– Brokerage: Forwarding your enquiry to an insurance or pension partner (insurer, insurance intermediary or pension provider) cooperating with us so that they can contact you for a personal consultation in the desired area.
– Contact: Enabling the insurance or pension partner to contact you for a free, no-obligation consultation.
– Quality assurance: Ensuring service quality and optimising our brokerage service.
The data is not used for the following purposes: fundraising, direct marketing by Legendmarketing or third parties, advertising, resale to third parties, profiling or automated individual decisions.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Your data is disclosed exclusively to the following categories of recipients:

Depending on availability and suitability, your enquiry is forwarded to one or more insurance, pension or brokerage partners. Each partner will make a recommendation from its own product and service range. This is not necessarily the cheapest or most comprehensive solution on the market. There is no obligation to conclude a contract.
Insurance, pension and brokerage partners are independent controllers within the meaning of the FADP and process your data exclusively for the purpose of contacting and advising you. They are bound by the applicable data protection regulations.
Leadbyte Ltd. acts as a processor on behalf of Legendmarketing GmbH and may not use the data for its own purposes.
Your data is not passed on to other third parties – in particular not to print shops, mail order companies, call centres or other external service providers – unless we are legally obliged to do so.
6. Storage location and data transfer
The website inside-switzerland.ch is provided via a cloud provider; the personal data collected via the newsletter form is transmitted to our database via an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored there. The servers of our database and hosting provider are located within the EU/EEA (ISO 27001 certified).
The personal data collected via the contact forms of our platforms (e.g. rechtsschutzangebot.ch, vorsorge3a-check.ch) is transmitted via an encrypted API connection (HTTPS) to Leadbyte Ltd., whose servers are located in Ireland (EU) (Amazon Web Services, ISO 27001 certified). From there, it is forwarded to the insurance or pension partner.
Ireland and other EU/EEA states are regarded as countries with an adequate level of data protection in accordance with Annex 1 of the Swiss Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). Additional safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are therefore not required.
7. Legal basis
The processing of your personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
– Consent (Art. 6 para. 6 lit. a FADP): You give your express consent to the processing and, where applicable, disclosure to an insurance or pension partner by ticking the corresponding checkbox in the contact form and submitting the form or subscribing to the newsletter.
– Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP): Data processing is carried out in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020 (in force since 1 September 2023).
8. Retention period
Your personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purpose. Specifically:
– Newsletter data: Stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or request deletion.
– Form data at Leadbyte: Deleted after successful brokerage to the insurance or pension partner in accordance with the contractual retention periods.
– At the insurance / pension partner: The partner is responsible for compliance with its own retention periods.
– On the web server: No personal data is stored directly on the inside-switzerland.ch web server; storage takes place exclusively in our encrypted database.
9. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website may use the following technologies:
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): We may use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. We have enabled IP anonymisation so that your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before being transmitted to Google. The information generated is stored on Google servers, which may also be located in the USA.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. Pseudonymised data is transmitted to Meta.
TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Limited): We may use the TikTok Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our content and advertisements on TikTok. Pseudonymised data is transmitted to TikTok.
You can prevent the storage of cookies at any time by adjusting your browser software settings. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
10. SSL encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of all data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that your browser's address bar shows "https://" and a lock symbol is visible.

– Right of rectification (Art. 32 para. 1 FADP): You can request the correction of inaccurate personal data.
– Right of erasure: You can request the deletion of your personal data, provided that no statutory retention obligations conflict with this.
– Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
– Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
